Intermittent Mechanical Traction

This machine/table is used to alternately apply and release the traction force at preset intervals using a stretching force to the cervical or lumbar vertebrae to distract individual joints of the spine. The doctor determines the amount of force and length of time a person remains on traction. It is used to treat degenerative disc disease, herniated or protruding discs and osteoarthritis.
